There’s something about front doors that stops me in my tracks. I can’t really explain it.
Maybe it’s the sense of invitation, the mystery of what’s behind them, or the way they quietly reflect a place’s personality. But during my travels, I’ve become unintentionally obsessed with them. Wherever I am around the world, I find myself constantly snapping photos of the front doors that I want to save for future travel inspiration.

Why Front Doors?
It’s a small detail, but the most surprising design inspiration often comes from the unexpected. I photograph parks, gardens, architecture, and ornamental details, but front doors always pull me back in. There’s an intimacy to them—like a local signature—especially when you stumble on striking blue doors on houses tucked in a quiet village street or a purple front door boldly standing out in a sea of neutrals.
You’ll notice a trend in some photos—yes, I’m also drawn to big front doors. Oversized, dramatic entries with heavy knockers or towering arches feel like something out of a storybook. They speak of old-world grandeur, and I can’t help but pause and admire them.
